Düsseldorf Fair

The Düsseldorf Fair looks back to a long established tradition with Stockheim as a partner in the field of gastronomy for many years. Even long before the opening of its new location in 1971 Stockheim was and remains the „gastronomer on-site”: for more than 20 years Stockheim catered the “old fair” location which was situated between Kaiserstraße and Joseph-Beuys-Ufer.

Today the Düsseldorf fair is considered as one of the leading trade fair locations in Germany with its 1.4 million guests and over 27,500 exhibitors annually. Its dominant internationality is explicit with its more than 40 international fairs, of which 23 are the topmost worldwide in their branches. In 2007 29 % of the visitors came from abroad. The foreign exhibitors constituted 56%.

The spectrum of gastronomy offers ranges from service and free flow-restaurants, various snack bar concepts through to the mobile snack and to-go units. With these diversified concepts all needs are met - either international guests, who may opt for regional specialties or complete meals in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere or hurried customers, who may rather prefer a quick snack.
